The below comments were from several of Morgan's proofreaders. Now we need comments from people who have purchased Cripple Creek. (see below)
Kay M, Aug 08: Good grief, where did all this humor and comedy come from? Just when I really thought I knew Morgan, she again surprises me. This book had me either rolling on the floor laughing or nearly gagging on tears. What a story! I'm sorry I am such a terrible proofreader, but it's your fault Morgan for writing such intriguing books.
Jane S, 07-09-08: Cripple Creek blew me away. Morgan, you write in such a visual way that I swear I have been to Cripple Creek. You said that all the info in the book is true, as for the setting, so I can't wait to visit Cripple Creek myself. Will I get to meet Jo Marsh, or have I already? More, more, more, give us more!
Thomas G, July 08: My God Almighty, Morgan! How do you do it? One minute you take me to Mexico City and would have almost left me there if you hadn't suddenly whisked me to the Colorado Rockies, through wild mountain canyons, in deep dank tunnels, then almost set my rear on fire! I have never read such a wild and funny book, yet in there is a wonderful love story, several love stories in fact. All your characters in all three books I have read so far are more real than I ever dreamed anyone could write, but you did it. From homeless and street kids inhaling solvents to wild and crazy women robbing casinos. What can I say? You are one hell of an amazing and remarkable writer. Get an agent! Get someone! You have got to go national!
HJ Sinclair, 06-02-08: Twice I have been set on my backside by Morgan's thrilling ability to tell a tale, yet she doesn't tell you, she takes you. Cripple Creek, like Morgan's other books, is fast paced and totally absorbing. Her knowledge of Cripple Creek and its area is supurb. I knew her when she lived in Divide so I know the energy she puts into her research...but I never dreamed that it would result in such a great book. All her characters are so real and they each have their own unique voice and expression. It's very difficult to write books that involve so many characters but Morgan pulls it off without a hitch. Because of her I have dropped my favorite authors and wait with baited breath for Morgan's next accomplishment. And, it is well worth the wait! Get this woman's talents to Hollywood! Cripple Creek has got to be a movie!

Jan N, Nov 08: Ditto, ditto, and double ditto on every single comment made about Cripple Creek. Morgan, please don't stop writing.
Sandra L, Oct 08: Get ready because I am ordering several copies of all of Morgan's books to give them for Christmas presents. I've read books that I wanted to share with my friends, but Morgan's take top honors. I wish I had more money to buy more books, just to spread them around.
J Tillman, Sep 07: Dare I repeat what Lisa said? Just do it, and tell Morgan to write some more.
Lisa S, Sep 12: Take everything that everyone has written about "Cripple Creek" and put it here for me! Doubly! I can't wait for more of Morgan's books.
Darren F, Nov 15: Well, I purchased the book and am getting ready to purchase Morgan's other books. I was surprised at the refreshing way she writes, because it isn't at all like those xeroxed copy books they dare call individually written. Thank God someone is still willing to write originally. Keep up the good work.
