This is the most amazing cookbook. There are times when I would rather be doing anything but cooking, but with this cookbook, I can be musing through the recipes and stop to read one of Morgan's wild stories at the same time. Now my family wonders why I am laughing so much when I'm in the kitchen. Thank you girl, for being so brave to do something totally different! I will also be ordering Retrieved in January 06. I have read the comments about it and can't wait. Sherry H, MN, Dec 2, 2005
I wasn't sure about ordering the cookbook, but after reading Retrieved, I just knew that it had to be something new and different. I am so glad I did. Morgan, if you ever get to MN, look us up. My whole family wants to meet you! Ian B, MN, Nov 12, 2005
Ok, I did it. I ordered The Extreme Woman's Cookbook for my wife. But, in all honesty, I could not put it down. We have both had some of the greatest belly laughs because of Morgan's true life stories, and even after we made some of the recipes. They are absolutely delicious! I am ordering Retrieved today...for the both of us! Kevin J, June 22, 2005
First of all I would like to acknowledge Further Beyond for daring to represent Morgan Chai. It is a brave step, because after reading Retrieved I understood why Morgan could not get any agents or publishers interested. It is TOO REAL, and publishers don't like that, it appears. There are some brave ones, but they are very few and far between. But Morgan Chai is a master storyteller, and she writes not only from the heart, but from her life's experiences. Secondly, after reading Retrieved and falling in love with it, and so did my husband and 3 teenage children, we ordered The Extreme Woman's Cookbook. We were not let down. The recipes are great, some are outlandish, but taste excellent, and the stories in each section of the book are hillarious. We all agree that Morgan needs to have that out of this world sense of humor in order to balance her x-ray eyes...eyes that see straight into the soul of all life. We keep checking the website for new books by her! Please hurry Morgan, your audience in California anxiously await your magic! Clair N, CA, April 28, 2005
Got my cookbook today. I can't seem to put it down! The recipes are awesome, and I just love the stories. I can relate to some of this fun "insanity!" Morgan is an amazing writer. Such a way with words and expressions. WOW! A++++++++ Adare J, OR, USA, March 03, 2004

"The Extreme Woman's Cookbook:" I sure am enjoying the cookbook. It is so cleverly prepared and what interesting recipes. I read one of the stories then can't wait to check out the recipes, then can't wait to get to another story. In a day and age of so many cookbooks on the market, this has got to be one of the most fun and informative through cute stories and Morgan's great touch to make a recipe extra tasty and special. I am anxious to have another party and use some of her recipes! Jackie S, February 17, 2004
