The below comments were from several of Morgan's proofreaders. Now we need comments from those of you who have purchased Stolen Lives. (see below)
Kay M, Aug 08: Morgan, my friend, you are a Master storyteller, and that's an understatement. Of all the years I have known you I am still surprised at the things you can do. Now that you started this joy ride (for us readers) you have to keep going. Where's the next book?
Jane S, 07-09-08: Here we go again. Just when I thought the thrilling roller coaster of Retrieved would settle down in a sequel, I was shocked. No slowing down for Morgan. Stolen Lives just keeps the energy going. Wow, what a book! This time she shows some of the great sense of humor she has. She can write anything, because she has lived almost everything. Give us more!
Thomas G, July 08: What can I say? I could write pages about Morgan's books but have to somehow keep it short. I was asked to read Stolen Lives and give my honest opinion about it. I got just a few pages into it and asked, no I begged, for a copy of Retrieved to read first. I knew immediately that I had to start this story from the beginning. I am not an avid reader because so many books nowadays are empty space concealed behind book covers, but not so with Retrieved and Stolen Lives. The characters are unbelievable, the plot and plot twists keep you immershed, and the writing is some of the best I have ever read. My wife tried to read over my shoulders but gave up and bought both books for herself. Neither of us could put them down. To my amazement, I have started reading them again and realize how much I somehow missed. They are so good! They are great!
HJ Sinclair, 06-02-08: I wasn't sure if I would be willing to go back to the intensity of Retrieved, but I chanced it and was darn glad I did. Stolen Lives is the sequel to Retrieved, but unlike most sequels, it goes above and beyond Retrieved in its own special way. Esther Luttrell was right, Morgan could be the hottest writer since Hemingway if only a major publisher would take notice. Is anyone else tired of the same old reading materials that those publishers are cranking out? Her stories even put Hollywood's movies to shame. Isn't anyone paying attention? We need writers like her.

Jan N, Nov 08: I'm a reader who doesn't know Morgan, but I wish I did. I can't look at the cover of Stolen Lives without almost crying. It's like being pulled into the emotional whirlpool of those precious children you've written about. Even though Stolen Lives has more humor in it than in Retrieved, it's still a tremendously powerful story about the dangers that children face. And thank goodness for the moments of humor, they saved me from balling my head off. How do you do it? I would love to know you personaly because I'd bet that you are every bit the person as you are the writer.
