Much to my chagrin there are little to no statistics for 2002 and 2003, which I would imagine was due to the elevated terrorist situation around the world. If that is true, then the plight of the world's homeless, street, and exploited children has once again been put on the back shelf of our so-called civilized humanitarian dictates.
Sadly, this behavior reaches far beyond the homeless and street children, it reaches right inside your own home, because statistics show that in the United States alone, approximately 2,500 children go missing each day. I repeat, 2,500 children go missing each day in the United States of America. And these children are not part of the 50,000 children who are trafficked into the United States for the sole purpose of being sexual meat on the perverted tables of the pedophiles and voyeurs who live amongst us undetected.
